India approves MoU on joint Blockchain Research with BRICS banks.

The Union Cabinet of India, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi approves MOU on Joint Blockchain Research with BRICS members.

Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) will participate with member banks, under the BRICS Interbank Cooperation Mechanism.

The member banks are Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Economico e Social (BNDES, of Brazil), China Development Bank (CDB), State Corporation Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank, of Russia) and Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA).

Approval for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on collaborative research on distributed ledger and blockchain technology in the context of the development of the digital economyreported on September 12 by ANI, local news network.

The MOU, a cooperative initiative with BRICS economic bloc, of which India is a member, alongside Brazil, Russia, China, and South Africa.

What it expects to encourage better a comprehension of DLT and characterize zones where the innovation can be sent to enhance operational proficiency.

 

BRICS countries could use the flourishing and dynamic digital economy that will encourage worldwide financial involvement and will foster economic development which will include everybody.
